The PCACAC Conference Planning Committee has kicked off planning an eventful and informative 57th Annual Conference in Harrisonburg, Virginia, at Hotel Madison, April 10-12, 2022! 

The PCACAC Conference Room Block is now Open!  PCACAC has secured a special rate of $109.00 (plus taxes and fees) for ANY room option. **Secure this rate by March 21, 2022**

Call for Conference Volunteers!  The Conference Planning Committee relies on volunteers to make the experience memorable. We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities prior to the conference and at the actual conference.  Please consider joining us and volunteering your time to PCACAC!

 PCACAC Seeks an Executive Assistant and Web/Technology Coordinator 

Know someone with excellent organization and communication skills? How about someone who is as tech-savvy as they come? A great opportunity may be just around the corner for them!  

PCACAC is looking for talented individuals that may be a great fit and have an interest in serving as a part-time executive assistant for our association or as a coordinator for our website and technological needs. 
The Executive Assistant position announcement is now posted on our website! We are looking for applicants to inquire no later than December 31, 2021. Please encourage interested individuals to reach out to PCACAC Leadership 


John A. "Jack" Blackburn Award 

The PCACAC Past Presidents Committee invites you to SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATION for a candidate deserving of the John A. "Jack" Blackburn Award for Ethics in College Admission. 

This award will be presented during PCACAC's 57th Annual Conference in Harrisonburg, Virginia on April 10-12, 2022.  Nominations are open now and close on February 11, 2022.  Applications will be reviewed by the Past Presidents Committee and selections will be made by March 1, 2022.

Rural SIG Conference Call Out!

If you are interested in serving as faculty or a volunteer for the upcoming March 2022 Rural SIG Conference, we would love for you to join us! The Rural SIG is tentatively scheduled for March 1st at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center. The PCACAC Leadership Education Certificate Program is currently on hiatus and will return in the fall of 2022 with new voices, innovators, and leaders. If you are interested in being a featured lecturer for next year’s certificate program, please reach out to Damian Garcia

Call Out for Communication Committee Members!

The PCACAC Communication Committee is looking for some seriously awesome new ideas and new folks to share those ideas. Currently the Communications Committee shares information via social media accounts and produces the bi-weekly Anchor Splash.

Ideas for the future of the Communications Committee are wide open. The goals are to keep our membership informed of what is happening in our affiliate and nationally, produce interesting/relevant content that will help us express the value of PCACAC to current and prospective members.

We are looking for energetic and visionary colleagues who can help us build and invigorate the Communications Committee. Please contact Melissa Hypolite for further information and to volunteer.
