NCAA Update:

On Tuesday, October 29, 2019 the NCAA Board of Governors voted unanimously to start the process to allow collegiate athletes to profit from their names, images and likenesses. The timeline for implementation is not immediately clear.

NACAC Applauds Committee Passage Of HEA Reauthorization

The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) applauded the House Committee on Education and Labor for passing the College Affordability Act, which would reauthorize the Higher Education Act (HEA). The HEA governs how tens of billions of federal student aid dollars are awarded and holds colleges accountable for the education they provide to students.

The PCACAC Past Presidents Committee invites you to SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATION for a candidate deserving of the John A. "Jack" Blackburn Award for Ethics in College Admission.  This award will be presented during PCACAC's 55th Annual Conference at the Hotel Madison in Harrisonburg, VA on April 19-21, 2020.   

Nominations close on January 4, 2020.  Applications will be reviewed by the Past Presidents Committee and selections will be made by February 2020.
