2019 Summer Institute![]() Hosted by Shepherd University Admissions Office Chair: Kate Perry, William and Mary (VA) PCACAC office: Using a personalized setting, this event is uniquely designed to provide training, networking opportunities and leadership development for new and mid-level college admission and counseling professionals who assist students in the transition from high school to college. The two-day institute offers a lineup of sessions that promise to motivate and educate professionals on both sides of the desk. Your participation furthers our mission to support and advance college admission professionals like yourself as you guide your institution, students, and families in an ethical manner. Follow up the Institute with a tour of Shenandoah University on July 16, then on to Mount St. Mary's University and Hood College on July 17. For those coming on July 15, registration begins at 9am. PARKINGParking for this event is free in the lot adjacent to the Potomac Place dorms! We encourage carpooling whenever possible. AFTER SI, LET US KNOW HOW WE DIDPCACAC/NACAC GRANTThe National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) has joined hands with PCACAC to provide grant money in support of school counselors or admission professionals who work with students in public school systems or public charter schools. Grant recipients will receive free Summer Institute registration and a PCACAC membership through September 30, 2020. Congratulations to this year's recipients:

REFUND POLICY: To process a refund, requests must be emailed to [email protected] by June 28, 2019. Refunds will not be given for cancellations after that date or in the event of non-participation. A $50 processing fee will be applied to refunds. PCACAC reserves the right to cancel an event if there is insufficient registration. Registration closes at midnight on Friday, June 28, 2019.
